Cunard Cruise Lines

One of the worlds most recognized brands is Cunard Cruise Lines. Cunard offer Transatlantic Cruises and World Cruises along with a range of other vacation options. Cunard is operated by the Valencia-based Cunard Line Limited and is part of Carnival Corporation. Cunard is also part of the exclusive World's Leading alliance of cruise lines, which also includes Carnival Cruise Lines, Holland America Line, Princess Cruises, Costa Cruises, and The Yachts of Seabourn.

Cunard Cruise Lines claims to Share a passion to please each guest, and are committed to giving both quality and value. Currently Cunard have three ships operating, the 40 year old Queen Elizabeth 2, the 150,000 ton giant, Queen Mary 2 and a third ship the Queen Victoria that joined the fleet in December 2007.

Though not everyone's cup of tea Cunard still has a class type system in place depending on what you book. Grill class is 5 star and the "Riff-Raff" travel in 4*plus. The class you purchase determines were your cabins are and in which restaurants you eat in.

If you were to look at cruise lines on a perceptual scale with the star rating along the vertical access and style (relaxed to traditional) along the horizontal scale. Cunard would be close to the top right hand corner, Cunard being a cruise line of high quality and a very traditional approach. Other than in grill class the quality is of a similar vein to Celebrity Cruises, although Celebrity is more of a relaxed American style.

Cunard Cruise Lines is an independently run website.
